All residents are provided the Resident Handbook upon admission. This handbook provides residents with information on their rights, responsibilities and grievance policy.

Additionally the handbook includes information on personal property and permissible items, programming, visitation, and the level system among others.

Residents also receive a booklet on personal safety. It is important to RRVJC that all residents remain safe and free from sexual abuse and sexual harassment. This booklet, in tandem with an engaging informational video teaches youth how to identify and report abuse or harassment.
