CORRECTIONS OFFICERS
The Northwest Regional Corrections Center (NWRCC) in Crookston MN is hiring for the position of FT and PT Corrections Officers to work with male and female inmates in an adult jail. Starting Wage of $22.21/hour with no experience as of January 1, 2024. Duties include but are not limited to: Inmate supervision; inmate transport; searches; well-being checks; booking and release of inmates; meal delivery; medication delivery; security system monitoring and numerous inventories/counts. College students desiring a career in law enforcement, corrections or a behavioral health field are strongly encouraged to apply! SALARY Information: Effective January 1, 2024, starting salary of $22.21/hour with no experience required. Wage increases to $23.10/hour upon completion of 6 months of employment. Additional wage increases to $24.02/hour upon completion of first 12 months of employment. Starting annual salary for FT Officers in excess of approximately $55,000 with no experience necessary! Single and Family Insurance plans are fully covered with no out-of-pocket expense to the employee to cover monthly premium. The hourly rate of pay does not include multiple wage/salary enhancements which significantly increase the average rate of pay! Additional compensation for shift differential, shift briefing, staff meetings, OT and holiday pay add approximately $2.50/hour on average over the course of the year. First year salary for FT Corrections Officer with no experience estimated at approximately $55,000 for 2024 with opportunities for additional compensation through OT and call-in pay.

FULL TIME and PART TIME positions available. No experience necessary and all training provided. Advancement opportunities within the agency! SALARY Information: Effective January 1, 2024, starting salary of $20.95/hour with no experience required. Wage increases to $21.79/hour upon completion of 6 months of employment. Additional wage increases to $22.66/hour upon completion of first 12 months of employment. Family insurance plan is fully covered by employee contribution.
