Property/Money

You can only bring or have someone drop off the following items:

  • Money
  • Prescription Medication
  • Work Release / Sentence to Service (STS) Clothing

The NWRCC will not accept any additional personal property unless for Work Release or Sentence to Service (STS) programs or is medically necessary for the inmate's well-being.  Inmates participating in work release or STS are permitted to have up to three (3) changes of clothing stored in their work release/STS locker.

If you have a special need to bring in an item, you must obtain the approval of the on-duty Sergeant.

Approved items to be dropped off for an inmate must be done Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays) as all items must be screened by law enforcement security personnel.

Any attempts to introduce contraband into the Northwest Regional Corrections Center will be referred to Law Enforcement for prosecution.

Inmates can receive money by:

  1. Depositing money on the inmate’s account using the kiosk located in the lobby of the NWRCC.

  2. Sending the inmate a money order through the mail.

  3. Depositing money on the inmate’s account on-line at: www.inmatecanteen.com

  4. When depositing money on-line, select Tri County Community Corrections as the facility to "find" the inmate housed at the NWRCC.
  5. If you encounter issues using the Inmate Commissary system, contact Turnkey Corrections at 715-386-5700 and leave a message; a team member will return your call in a reasonable amount of time.  Also, you can go to inmatecanteen.com/support and fill out a follow-up request form.

Personal checks are not accepted.

No inmate property will be released without the inmate’s permission.  Inmates requesting to release personal property to a member of the general public must fill out an authorization form.

Personal property of released inmates will be disposed of 90 days after the inmate’s release from custody.
