Minnesota Government Data Practices Act
The Minnesota Government Data Practices Act (MGDPA) regulates the management of government data that is collected, created, received or released by a government entity. The MGDPA can be found in Chapter 13 of Minnesota Statutes.

The Regional Corrections Board of
Tri-County Community Corrections
(Norman, Polk and Red Lake Counties)
designates Andrew Larson, Executive Director,
as the "Responsible Authority" for the
collection, use and dissemination of data on individuals,
government data or summary data, unless otherwise
provided by State law.
"Public Data on Individuals" we maintain is data, which is accessible to the public in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statute 13.03 Access to Government Data.
"Private Data on Individuals" we maintain is data, which is made by Statute or Federal law applicable to the data: (1) not public; and (2) accessible to the individual subject of that data.
"Confidential Data on Individuals" we maintain is data, which is made: (1) not public by Statute for Federal law applicable to the data; and (2) is inaccessible to the individual subject of that data.
"Access to Data Maintained by Tri-County Community Corrections" must be requested in writing to Andrew Larson, "Responsible Authority" for Tri-County Community Corrections. {TCCC Request for Government Data Form, click link below}
Upon receipt of the request, the individual(s) will be informed whether the data requested is maintained by Tri-County Community Corrections, the classification of the data and whether or not the data is available in the requested format.
Tri-County Community Corrections has created a "Minnesota Government Data Practices Act Classification Schedule" for each department that include Private or Confidential Data on individuals. {To view, click link below}
